Our founder Gunilla von Platen and all of us working at Xzakt are very proud to be goodwill-ambassador for the foundation "Min Stora Dag". Everytime that "Min Stora Dag" contributes to a childs wishes coming true, will also be our big day.
MinStoraDag Foundation was started in May 2000 on the initiative of Claire Rosvall.
MinStoraDag and makes swedens severly ill children's wishes come true.
The organization also arranges cafés at children's hospitals, group activities and camps for children. The business is built on voluntary basis, and cooperate with all Universities and the children / youth clinics in Sweden. Hospital staff help out with identifying which children that need encouragement when the treatments are tough.
Every year more than five hundred "Stora Dagar", group events and youth camps gets is performed so that about two thousand children per year receive a much needed break in their hospital stay. Examples of "Stora Dagar": A 7 year old Boy with a brain tumor got to meet his idol Freddie Ljungberg, A 15 year old Girl with leukemia got to swim with dolphins.
The Foundation's patrons are H.K.H. Princess Madeleine and its ambassadors are Nanne Grönvall, Martin Timell, Kajsa Bergqvist, Tobbe Trollkarl (wizard), Johan Ernst Nilson and Amy Diamond.
On the initiative of Claire Rosvall, and with the Board's support, in 2011 they formed a committee constisting of a few businesses profiles to support a five-year fundraising campaign. They are known as "goodwill ambassadors" and encourages individuals and businesses in their networks to support MinStoraDag.
The idea behind the campaign and goodwill ambassadors is that over a five year period, generate revenues and disseminate information about MinStoraDag. The contributions will help MinStoraDag to move closer to the Foundation's goal is to reach all severely ill children in Sweden.
MinStoraDag are very grateful for their goodwill ambassadors commitment. It means a lot and it's funny that they want to support the business, not only through his company, but also personally.
